
Senior Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic (3rd Shift)

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing advanced technical skills and knowledge.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules and procedures to prevent equipment failures.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance activities and minimize impact on production schedule.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance technicians on equipment maintenance and troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source replacement parts and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Lead and participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address recurring equipment issues.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies, making recommendations for equipment upgrades and improvements.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing timely updates on maintenance activities and equipment status.
- Support and adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Act as a role model for professionalism, integrity, and teamwork, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In A Manufacturing Maintenance Role, Preferably In A Medical Device Or Biotechnology Company.
Extensive Knowledge Of Mechanical, Electrical, And Pneumatic Systems Used In Manufacturing Equipment.
Strong Troubleshooting And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Issues In A Fast-Paced Production Environment.
Proficient In Reading And Interpreting Technical Drawings, Schematics, And Manuals.
Willingness To Work Third Shift And/Or Overtime As Needed To Meet Production Demands And Equipment Maintenance Schedules.
