Develop, document, and implement technologies, methods and techniques to drive cost and quality improvements while ensuring compliance with quality systems and company standards. Develop, enhances, implement and maintain manufacturing methods, techniques, processes, and tooling on fabricated parts, components, subassemblies and final products. Provide direction for development, maintenance, and procedures. Coordinate the implementation of changes due process changes, product enhancements/revisions, and new product launches to ensure smooth transition to production floor ensuring all quality and validation requirements are met. Design jigs, guards, and fixtures to aid associates. Collaborate with the Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Purchasing functions as well as suppliers to conduct problem solving activities. Provide training to associates. Actively maintain knowledge of new technologies, methods and techniques.
