  1. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of Beckman Coulter equipment at customer sites in the DACH region.
  2. Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with Beckman Coulter equipment, utilizing technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
  3. Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions to their technical problems.
  4. Train and educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of Beckman Coulter equipment.
  5. Document and report all service and repair activities, including parts used and time spent, in a timely and accurate manner.
  6. Collaborate with other members of the Beckman Coulter team, including sales and support staff, to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  7. Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in technology to provide the best possible service to customers.
  8. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on customer sites.
  9. Act as a brand ambassador for Beckman Coulter, representing the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  10. Maintain proper inventory of parts and supplies, and order replacements as needed.
  11. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance the service and support provided to customers.
  12. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all service and repair activities.
  13. Travel to customer sites as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Diagnostics And Life Sciences Technology: A Qualified Field Service Engineer/Technician Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Latest Diagnostics And Life Sciences Technology, Including Instruments And Software Used In The Field. This Knowledge Will Enable Them To Effectively Troubleshoot And Resolve Technical Issues For Customers.

  • Experience In Field Service: Previous Experience In A Field Service Role, Preferably In The Diagnostics And Life Sciences Industry, Is An Important Qualification For This Position. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Is Familiar With The Challenges And Demands Of Providing On-Site Support To Customers.

  • Technical Expertise And Troubleshooting Skills: The Ability To Diagnose And Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues Is Crucial For A Successful Field Service Engineer/Technician. This Requires In-Depth Knowledge Of The Equipment, As Well As Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Representative Of Beckman Coulter, The Field Service Engineer/Technician Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Interact With Customers In A Professional And Courteous Manner. They Should Also Have The Ability To Explain Technical Information In A Clear And Concise Manner.

  • Flexibility And Adaptability: The Dach Region Is Known For Its Diverse Customer Base And Dynamic Work Environment. A Qualified Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To Changing Situations And Work Well Under Pressure. They Should Also Be Willing To Travel Frequently And Work Flexible Hours To Meet The Needs Of Customers.
