Job Description

Provide remote and hands on user support for desktops, lap tops and local lab equipment. Provide administrative support for local server systems. Provide technical guidance to users and management for desktop support services. Participate in projects or teams and directed by the Manager/Supervisor. Assist Manager/Supervisor in development support strategy. Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of all relevant hardware and software. Implementation and support of network operating systems and services. Configuration, installation & deployment of all PC’s and PC related peripherals. Configuration, installation, deployment & support of desktop management suite. Support local manufacturing systems. Develop and maintain appropriate desktop and server related procedures and ensure these procedures are implemented.

Job Qualifications

  • Three or more years current experience in desktop support including network applications / operating systems / hardware.

  • Extensive experience implementing and maintaining Windows based application servers.

  • Applicable degree program or IT industry certification including ITIL Foundation Certified is preferred

  • Ability to travel with valid driver’s license; ability to work off core business hours as required
