  1. Provide technical support: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving IT issues related to clinical systems, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  2. Ensure system stability and security: Monitor and maintain the performance, security, and integrity of clinical IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with other departments, including laboratory personnel and IT colleagues, to understand their needs and provide IT solutions that support their goals.
  4. Conduct system maintenance and upgrades: Plan and execute regular maintenance activities and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  5. Develop and implement IT policies: Create and implement policies and procedures related to clinical IT systems to ensure data integrity and security, as well as adherence to regulatory requirements.
  6. Train end-users: Conduct training sessions for end-users on new systems and updates, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to utilize the systems effectively.
  7. Stay current with industry trends: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in clinical IT systems.
  8. Provide documentation and reports: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems and activities, as well as generate reports on system performance and user support.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues: Utilize problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to identify and resolve complex IT issues, escalating to senior IT staff or external vendors when necessary.
  10. Ensure compliance: Ensure that all clinical IT systems comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and FDA guidelines.
  11. Support strategic initiatives: Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company's objectives and support the growth of the business.
  12. Provide exceptional customer service: Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional support to the scientific community, ensuring their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical It Role, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Laboratory Workflows And Processes.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages And Database Management Systems.

  • Experience With Laboratory Information Systems (Lis) And Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Systems.
