- Design and develop automation and control systems for medical devices in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
- Work closely with experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience and contribute to the development of cutting-edge medical devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to automation and control systems.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in automation and controls technology in the medical device industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation and control systems in new product development.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve the functionality and efficiency of automation and control systems.
- Assist in creating and maintaining documentation, including specifications, drawings, and procedures.

Strong Understanding Of Automation And Controls Engineering Principles: Candidates Should Have A Solid Foundation In Automation And Controls Engineering Theory And Be Able To Apply It To Practical Applications. This May Include Knowledge Of Plc Programming, Hmi Design, And Industrial Communication Protocols.
Familiarity With Industry Standards And Regulations: Interns Should Be Familiar With Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Iso 13485 And Fda Regulations For Medical Device Manufacturing. Knowledge Of Safety Standards, Such As Nfpa 79, Is Also Desirable.
Experience With Automation And Control Systems: Previous Experience Working With Automation And Control Systems, Whether Through Academic Projects Or Internships, Is Highly Valued. This Includes Hands-On Experience With Hardware And Software Components, As Well As Troubleshooting And Debugging Skills.
