  1. Lead and manage the Content Metadata department in the BBC software engineering team.
  2. Design and implement innovative software solutions for content delivery, ensuring high-quality and efficient delivery to a global audience.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize business needs and requirements.
  4. Develop and maintain a strong team dynamic, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.
  5. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  6. Identify and assess risks in projects and proactively implement measures to mitigate them.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software engineering, and incorporate them into team processes and workflows.

Job Qualifications
