  1. Develop and maintain automated tests for all software systems to ensure high quality and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design appropriate test cases.
  3. Execute and analyze test results, troubleshoot issues and document defects.
  4. Identify and report any bugs or errors in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Conduct thorough and comprehensive regression testing to ensure software changes do not impact existing functionality.
  6. Continuously improve and optimize testing processes and techniques.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient testing process.
  9. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and identify potential issues.
  10. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members as needed.
  11. Analyze and report on test results to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvements.
  12. Proactively identify and escalate any technical or process-related roadblocks that may impact testing.
  13. Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  14. Act as a champion for quality within the organization and advocate for the best user experience.
  15. Collaborate with other teams to develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy and roadmap.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Programming Skills: A Software Engineer In Test At Bbc Should Have A Solid Foundation In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++, As Well As Experience With Test Automation Frameworks.

  • Knowledge Of Software Testing Methodologies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Software Testing Techniques And Procedures, Including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, And Regression Testing.

  • Experience With Test Automation Tools: Bbc Values Candidates Who Are Proficient In Using Test Automation Tools Such As Selenium, Appium, Or Cucumber To Build And Execute Automated Test Scripts.
