  3. Collaborate with the content team to develop and execute creative and innovative storytelling ideas.
  4. Manage and maintain the BBC's social media presence, including scheduling posts and responding to audience interactions.
  5. Utilize data and analytics to track and report on the performance of social media content and make recommendations for improvement.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the BBC remains at the forefront of social media trends and technology.
  7. Work closely with other departments, including marketing and PR, to align social media strategies with overall brand and organizational goals.
  8. Engage with the BBC's social media community, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and influencers to amplify the reach and impact of social media content.
  10. Maintain a consistent and cohesive brand voice and tone across all social media platforms.
  11. Act as a social media ambassador for the BBC, staying informed about current events and contributing to relevant conversations online.
  12. Monitor social media platforms for any potential issues or crises, and escalate to appropriate teams as needed.
  13. Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to engage with the audience and increase the BBC's social media following.
  14. Adhere to the BBC's social media policies and guidelines to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity in all online interactions.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Journalism, Media Production, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Social Media Content Production, Preferably In A News Or Media Setting.

  • Proficiency In Creating Engaging And High-Quality Content For Various Social Media Platforms, Including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, And Youtube.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Current Events And Ability To Identify And Develop Content Around Trending Topics.
