- Assist with the recording and editing of audio segments as needed.
- Ensure all content meets BBC's standards and guidelines for quality and accuracy.
- Manage and organize research materials and resources to facilitate efficient production processes.
- Continuously seek out opportunities to improve and enhance the quality and impact of the Science Audio Unit's content.
- Collaborate with other departments within BBC to promote and distribute audio content across various platforms.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in audio storytelling to contribute innovative ideas and approaches to the team.
A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Science Journalism, Audio Production, Or A Scientific Discipline.
Prior Experience In Conducting Research And Writing For Audio Platforms, Such As Podcasts Or Radio Shows.
Strong Communication And Storytelling Skills, With The Ability To Translate Complex Scientific Information Into Engaging Audio Content.
Proficiency In Audio Editing And Production Software, As Well As Experience With Recording Equipment And Techniques.
A Keen Interest In Current Scientific Developments And A Strong Understanding Of The Bbc's Editorial Guidelines And Values.
