Welcome to the exciting world of BBC production! We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Co-Ordinator to join our team. As a Co-Ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of our productions. From coordinating schedules and managing budgets, to liaising with talent and overseeing logistics, you will be responsible for keeping all aspects of our productions running seamlessly.   1. Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely delivery of all projects.
  2. Manage production budgets and expenses, ensuring they are kept within the allocated budget.
  3. Liaise with talent, agents, and other production personnel to schedule meetings, interviews, and other production-related activities.
  4. Oversee logistics, such as booking travel and accommodations for production crew and talent.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production schedules, budgets, and expenses.
  6. Communicate effectively with all team members, providing regular updates on production progress and addressing any issues that may arise.
  7. Collaborate with the creative team to develop production plans and ensure they are executed effectively.
  8. Anticipate and troubleshoot any potential problems or roadblocks in the production process.
  9. Ensure all necessary permits and releases are obtained for filming locations and talent.
  10. Act as a point of contact for all production-related inquiries and requests.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve production processes.
  12. Assist with other production-related tasks as needed.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and external partners.
  14. Uphold company standards and policies, ensuring all productions are in line with BBC's values and brand.
  15. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Production Coordination: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In Production Coordination, Preferably In A Television Or Media Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Production Processes And Be Able To Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Organizational And Planning Skills: The Role Of A Production Co-Ordinator At Bbc Involves Managing And Coordinating Various Aspects Of Production, Including Scheduling, Budgeting, And Logistics. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have Exceptional Organizational And Planning Skills To Ensure Smooth And Efficient Production.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Production Co-Ordinator Will Be Responsible For Liaising With Various Departments, Stakeholders, And External Vendors. They Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Convey Information And Build Relationships With Team Members And External Partners.

  • Knowledge Of Production Software And Tools: The Bbc Uses Various Production Software And Tools To Manage And Track Projects, Schedules, And Budgets. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using These Tools And Have A Good Understanding Of Production Software Such As Avid, Final Cut Pro, Or Adobe Premiere.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Candidate Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Identify And Resolve Potential Issues In Production. They Should Also Be Able To Think On Their Feet And Come Up With Creative Solutions To Unexpected Challenges That May Arise During The Production Process.
