  1. Create and deliver high-quality, engaging, and thought-provoking content for the Saturday Breakfast show on BBC Southampton - EXTEND.
  2. Conduct thorough research and fact-checking to ensure accuracy and credibility of content.
  3. Engage with listeners and respond to their queries, comments, and feedback.
  4. Stay up-to-date with current affairs and local news in Southampton and surrounding areas.
  5. Work closely with the production team to develop unique and creative segment ideas.
  6. Conduct interviews with relevant guests and experts to provide insightful and informative content.
  7. Adhere to BBC’s journalistic standards and ethics in all aspects of content creation.
  8. Collaborate with other BBC platforms and departments to promote and cross-promote content.
  9. Attend community events and represent BBC Southampton - EXTEND as a brand ambassador.
  10. Use social media to engage with listeners and promote the show’s content.
  11. Monitor audience feedback and ratings to continuously improve and evolve the show.
  12. Mentor and support junior members of the team, providing guidance and feedback.
  13. Attend regular team meetings and contribute to the overall vision and direction of the show.
  14. Maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing BBC Southampton - EXTEND.
  15. Ensure all content meets deadlines and is delivered in a timely manner.
  16. Continuously strive to make a positive impact in the community through ethical and informative journalism.
