  1. Develop and implement the BBC's corporate affairs strategy, in line with the organization's overall objectives and values.
  2. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and community organizations.
  3. Proactively identify potential reputational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  4. Serve as a spokesperson for the BBC, representing the organization in a professional and positive manner.
  5. Work closely with the media team to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication with external stakeholders.
  6. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the media landscape and industry trends to inform corporate affairs strategy.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, legal, and HR, to align messaging and initiatives.
  8. Plan and execute various events and campaigns to promote the BBC's mission and objectives.
  9. Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception of the BBC, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  10. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations related to media and public relations, and ensure compliance.
  11. Mentor and support junior team members to help them develop their skills and grow within the organization.
  12. Represent the BBC at industry events and conferences, and actively participate in relevant industry associations.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve the effectiveness of the corporate affairs strategy and initiatives.
  14. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the BBC's values and mission, and act as a brand ambassador at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Corporate Affairs, Public Relations, Or Communications, Preferably In The Media Industry.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Internal And External Stakeholders.

  • Strong Understanding Of Media Landscape And Current Affairs, With The Ability To Anticipate And Respond To Potential Issues And Crises.

  • Proven Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Communication Plans And Managing Corporate Reputation.
