  1. Develop and implement content strategies that align with the BBC's overall objectives and brand identity.
  2. Collaborate with various teams, including editorial, marketing, and digital, to create and execute content plans.
  3. Conduct research and analyze data to identify audience preferences and trends to inform content strategy.
  4. Identify and capitalize on emerging digital platforms and technologies to expand the BBC's online presence.
  5. Monitor and measure the success of content initiatives and make adjustments as needed to optimize performance.
  6. Work closely with producers, writers, and other content creators to develop compelling and impactful content.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate content strategy.
  8. Ensure all content is in line with BBC's editorial standards, legal guidelines, and values.
  9. Maintain a strong understanding of the BBC's target audience and tailor content accordingly.
  10. Collaborate with the design team to ensure visual elements enhance and support content goals.
  11. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance content offerings.
  12. Serve as an ambassador for the BBC, promoting its content and values to a global audience.
  13. Mentor and guide junior team members, providing support and feedback to help them grow and develop their skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Writing And Editing Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree In Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Content Strategy, Preferably In A Media Or News Organization

  • Strong Understanding Of Digital Content Trends And Best Practices

  • Experience Working With Cross-Functional Teams And Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
