Barnes & Noble is seeking an Invoice Analyst to join our team and help us ensure accuracy in our invoicing process.In this role, you will be responsible for verifying accuracy of invoices, analyzing discrepancies, and proposing solutions to address any issues. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision is also a must.If you are a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving abilities, we want to hear from you!Required qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field• Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable or a related field• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Detail-oriented and highly organized• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities:

  1. Verify accuracy of invoices and analyze any discrepancies.
  2. Propose solutions to address any issues.
  3. Maintain effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Work independently with minimal supervision.
  5. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
  6. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  8. Monitor accounts payable activities and ensure timely payments.
  9. Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  10. Generate reports and analyze financial data.
