
Cafe Manager
We are seeking an experienced Café Manager to join our team at Barnes & Noble! This position is a key role in our cafe operations, and we are looking for a passionate, motivated individual who is eager to make an impact in the overall customer experience.We are looking for someone with excellent customer service experience, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years of restaurant or hospitality management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment. A food safety certification is also required.If you are a personable leader who enjoys providing exceptional service and creating a warm and inviting atmosphere, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the café, including managing staff, overseeing customer service, and monitoring inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of all café operations, including sales, costs, and labor.
- Train, motivate, and manage café staff to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Develop marketing strategies to increase café sales.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure all café equipment is in working order and properly maintained.
- Monitor and order supplies to ensure proper stock levels.
- Work closely with the corporate office to ensure all goals and objectives are met.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to increase customer satisfaction.
- Act as an enthusiastic ambassador for Barnes & Noble, promoting the brand and its products.
