Job Description

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as Cafe Manager at Barnes & Noble! If you have excellent organizational and communication skills, a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and a knack for creating an inviting atmosphere, we want to hear from you! The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cafe operations, from inventory and supply management to staff training and customer service. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in a high-volume cafe or restaurant setting, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We’re also looking for someone with the enthusiasm and initiative to help drive sales and promote the cafe.If you’re looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join a growing team, then this could be the perfect role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all cafe operations run smoothly and efficiently, including inventory and supply management.
  2. Train and supervise staff to ensure top-notch customer service.
  3. Create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for customers.
  4. Monitor daily sales and promote the cafe accordingly.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer loyalty.
  6. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
  7. Maintain a high degree of cleanliness and hygiene in the cafe.
  8. Ensure that all Health and Safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
