The ideal candidate must have a love of books, a customer-focused attitude, and a commitment to delivering the highest level of service to our customers. In this role, you will play a vital part in bringing the joy of reading to our customers and promoting our unique product offering. To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, have a strong work ethic, and be a team player. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers in the store.
  2. Assist customers with finding books and other products in the store.
  3. Promote the unique product offering of Barnes & Noble.
  4. Help customers make purchasing decisions in an informed and friendly manner.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  6. Assist with inventory management and stocking of shelves.
  7. Ensure that all sales transactions are handled efficiently and accurately.
  8. Assist with promotional activities and events.
  9. Monitor store security and help protect company assets.
  10. Follow all company policies and procedures.
