Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide knowledgeable and informed answers to customer inquiries about books, products, and services.
  • Suggest books and other products to customers based on their interests.
  • Assist customers with purchases, returns, and exchanges.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly sales floor and stock shelves.
  • Ensure store shelves are properly stocked and merchandise is attractively presented.
  • Assist in the maintenance of store security and safety procedures.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with their purchases.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report low stock levels to management.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of sales transactions.
  • Participate in promotional activities and sales events as needed.
