The ability to work independently and collaboratively is essential. This is a part-time role with flexible hours; weekend availability is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers, answer questions and assist with book selections
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service
• Assist customers with their purchases, including ringing up orders
• Monitor inventory and restock shelves as necessary
• Ensure that the store is clean, well-organized and presentable
• Assist with book signings, readings and other special events
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions
• Maintain customer data and records
• Follow company policies and procedures
