Responsibilities of a Bookseller at Barnes & Noble:

  1. Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service.
  2. Use knowledge of books and literature to help customers find the perfect book or product.
  3. Engage customers in conversation and provide helpful advice.
  4. Offer friendly and informed recommendations about products.
  5. Accurately process customer transactions using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
  6. Maintain a neat and organized work area.
  7. Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and promotions.
  8. Demonstrate knowledge of store layout and product categories.
  9. Assist with stocking and inventory control.
  10. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints.
