Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers with their book selections, provide product recommendations, and answer questions about store products and services.
2. Maintain a knowledge of current and upcoming titles and authors to ensure customers are informed about the latest book releases.
3. Receive and process customer orders, handle payments, and issue receipts.
4. Stock shelves, organize books, and keep the store area clean and tidy.
5. Organize events such as book readings, author talks, and other promotional activities.
6. Assist with other tasks such as taking inventory, unpacking shipments, and merchandising displays.
7. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
8. Develop relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
