We are looking for someone with a passion for books and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.The successful candidate should have a friendly and professional demeanor, strong multitasking skills, and excellent communication and organizational skills. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can handle customer inquiries in a professional and responsive manner. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide knowledgeable assistance with book selections.
- Receive, unpack and display books in an organized and attractive manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of store layout and book selections.
- Ensure the store shelves are adequately stocked and organized.
- Assist with cash register functions and customer transactions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with general store upkeep such as cleaning and restocking shelves.
- Help maintain a neat and organized work area.
- Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current promotions and events.
- Assist with other tasks as requested by management.
