We’re looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Bookseller to join our team at Barnes & Noble.In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to share your love of literature and your expertise in recommending titles to our customers. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, has excellent customer service skills, and enjoys interacting with a diverse customer base.To be successful in this role, you should have a background in bookselling and a strong knowledge of literature. We’re looking for someone with a minimum of one year of experience in retail and a keen interest in books. A passion for reading and a commitment to providing excellent customer service are both essential.If you’re excited to join our team and help customers find their next great read, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities: • Provide excellent customer service to customers in order to help them find the perfect read. • Offer friendly assistance to customers and provide knowledgeable recommendations for books. • Listen attentively to customer requests and respond with relevant information. • Stay up-to-date on new releases, bestsellers, and other titles available in the store. • Ensure that shelves are properly stocked and arranged according to store guidelines. • Assist with returns, refunds, and exchanges of books when necessary. • Assist with organizing special events such as book signings and author readings. • Participate in promotional activities in order to increase sales. • Answer customer inquiries over the phone and via email. • Process payments and handle cash transactions.
