Barista

We are looking for an enthusiastic Barista to join our Barnes & Noble team! As a Barista, you will be the face of our cafe and provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, food items, and other items in accordance with company recipes and standards, as well as providing friendly service to our guests. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent customer service and communication skills, as well as a passion for providing an outstanding customer experience. Qualifications: • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role • Knowledge of coffee preparation and service• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to work independently or with a team • Ability to take direction and learn quickly • Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays • Must be 18 years of age or older • Ability to stand for extended periods of time • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must possess a valid food service permit as required by law
