  1. Lead and oversee the investment banking fintech division, ensuring strategic goals and objectives are met.
  2. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential fintech investment opportunities.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key players in the fintech industry.
  4. Develop and implement innovative investment strategies to drive growth and profitability.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate potential investments and make informed decisions.
  6. Monitor and track the performance of portfolio companies and provide regular updates to senior management.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and developments to inform investment decisions.
  8. Manage a team of analysts and associates, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their professional growth.
  9. Liaise with clients and investors to present investment opportunities and build partnerships.
  10. Represent Barclays at industry events and conferences to promote our investment banking fintech expertise.
  11. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to align investment strategies with overall business objectives.
  12. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to investments.
  13. Continuously assess and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the investment banking fintech division.
  14. Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in the field of fintech, providing insights and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Collaborate with other departments within Barclays to identify and pursue potential synergies and opportunities for growth.
