  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Financial Institutions Group Coverage, in alignment with the overall goals and objectives of Barclays.
  2. Lead and manage a team of investment banking professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team's success.
  3. Maintain and develop relationships with key financial institutions, acting as the main point of contact and providing exceptional customer service.
  4. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial sector, utilizing market knowledge and industry trends to drive growth and revenue.
  5. Collaborate with other departments within Barclays, such as risk management and compliance, to ensure all activities are in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  6. Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the Financial Institutions Group.
  7. Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and pitches to clients and senior management.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Investment Banking team.
  9. Represent Barclays at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the brand and build relationships.
  10. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, diversity, and professional development within the team.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Financial Institutions: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of The Financial Services Industry, Including Banks, Insurance Companies, And Other Financial Institutions. They Should Be Familiar With The Current Market Trends, Regulatory Environment, And Competitive Landscape.

  • Investment Banking Experience: A Successful Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Investment Banking, With A Focus On Financial Institutions. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Executing Complex Transactions, Such As Mergers And Acquisitions, Capital Raising, And Strategic Advisory Services.

  • Strong Analytical And Financial Skills: The Vp Should Have Strong Analytical And Financial Skills, With The Ability To Create Complex Financial Models And Conduct In-Depth Financial Analysis. They Should Also Have A Deep Understanding Of Valuation Techniques And Financial Statement Analysis.

They Should Also Possess Strong Relationship Management Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Clients And Industry Professionals.
