Tax Operations Analyst

As a Barclays Tax Operations Analyst, you will perform operational processes in accordance to procedures to remain compliant with IRS requirements. This includes daily reconciliation of withholding, deposits in accordance with the IRS prescribed schedule, and 1099 and 1042S information reporting. You will support internal and external client inquiries in relation tax processing. Being responsible for daily withholding reconciliation and IRS deposits. Preparation of data in accordance with procedures, ensuring timely distribution of 1099/1042-S reports to clients, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of Form 945 and 1042 . Providing Quality Assurance on US Tax Operations day-to-day process and year-end reporting. You will participate and provide US Tax subject matter expertise on the firm’s change programs. Performing user acceptance testing on system enhancements and builds. You will remediate anomalies in tax processes and recommend control improvements.
