- Provide support to the governance and compliance functions of the organization.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of board and committee meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance codes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of corporate governance documents, including board and committee charters, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the company's share register and handle share-related transactions.
- Monitor and report on changes in relevant legislation and regulations.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including board members and regulators.
- Coordinate and maintain the annual calendar of corporate governance events.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on best practices in corporate governance.
- Prepare and submit necessary regulatory filings and disclosures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures.
- Support the company secretarial team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks.
- Continuously monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company secretarial function.
- Act as a point of contact for any company secretarial queries or requests.
- Provide guidance and support to junior members of the company secretarial team.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Law, Or A Related Field.
At Least 5 Years Of Experience As An Assistant Company Secretary Or In A Similar Role.
Strong Knowledge Of Corporate Governance, Company Law, And Regulatory Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Confidently With Senior Management And External Stakeholders.
Proven Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Tasks And Responsibilities In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
