Job Description

Are you an experienced Scrum Master looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! Barclays is seeking a self-motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Scrum Master-VP. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and guide our teams through the Agile process, ensuring timely and successful project delivery. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Agile methodologies and has a proven track record of driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment. If you have a strong understanding of Agile principles and possess excellent communication and leadership skills, we want to hear from you!

  1. Lead and guide multiple teams through the Agile process, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  2. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  3. Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, best practices, and continuous improvement.
  4. Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure clear understanding and alignment of project goals.
  5. Identify and remove any obstacles or impediments that may prevent teams from achieving their sprint deliverables.
  6. Monitor and track team progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
  7. Encourage a culture of open communication, collaboration, and transparency within the team.
  8. Continuously strive to improve team efficiency, productivity, and quality through the use of Agile tools and techniques.
  9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in Agile methodologies, and proactively suggest and implement improvements to the Agile process.
  10. Act as a change agent, promoting and advocating for Agile principles and practices within the organization.
  11. Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and management.
  12. Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dedication to delivering high-quality results.
  13. Mentor and train new team members on Agile methodologies and processes.
  14. Monitor and report on key performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  15. Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile coaches to share best practices and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Scrum Master (Csm) Or Professional Scrum Master (Psm) Certification From A Recognized Institution.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience As A Scrum Master In A Large-Scale Organization, Preferably In The Financial Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Agile Principles And Methodologies, With Experience In Implementing And Scaling Agile Practices.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Coach And Mentor Teams Towards Continuous Improvement.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Multiple Projects And Delivering High-Quality Products Within Tight Deadlines.
