Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Rates Trade Floor Support professional to join the Barclays team! As part of the Rates Trading team, you will be responsible for providing active support to Traders and their respective teams. The ideal candidate must have a background in financial services, a strong working knowledge of financial products, and a knack for customer service. A successful Rates Trade Floor Support professional must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with traders and their teams to provide active support, including responding to inquiries and resolving any issues that arise.
  2. Maintain accurate records of all trading activities and transactions.
  3. Monitor market movements and trader performance to identify areas of improvement.
  4. Assist traders in understanding complex financial products and strategies.
  5. Keep abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
  6. Prepare detailed reports on trading activities for senior management.
  7. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and recommend changes as needed.
  8. Assist in the onboarding of new traders and provide ongoing training and support.
  9. Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  10. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
