  1. Utilize quantitative skills to analyze and model financial data for the Treasury function.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Or Related Field: A Strong Background In Quantitative Analysis Is Essential For This Role, And A Master's Or Phd Degree In A Relevant Field Demonstrates A High Level Of Proficiency In Advanced Mathematical And Statistical Concepts.

  • Experience In Financial Modeling And Risk Management: This Position Requires A Deep Understanding Of Financial Markets, Products, And Risk Management Techniques. Candidates Should Have Experience In Building And Implementing Financial Models To Analyze Market Trends And Assess Potential Risks.

  • Proficiency In Programming And Data Analysis: A Successful Quantitative Analyst Avp Must Be Highly Proficient In Programming Languages Such As R, Python, Or Matlab, As Well As Data Analysis Tools Like Sql Or Sas. Strong Coding Skills Are Essential For Building And Testing Complex Financial Models.

  • Knowledge Of Treasury Products And Markets: Barclays Is A Global Financial Institution With A Strong Presence In The Treasury Market. Therefore, Candidates For This Role Should Have A Solid Understanding Of Treasury Products, Including Fixed Income, Derivatives, And Foreign Exchange, As Well As The Ability To Analyze Market Trends And Make Informed Recommendations.
