- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry professionals.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay updated on market trends and developments in the private markets space, and use this knowledge to inform investment strategies.
- Collaborate with other teams within Barclays to ensure alignment and coordination in portfolio management.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines in managing private market investments.

Extensive Experience In Private Markets: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Private Markets, With At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role. This Includes Experience In Sourcing, Evaluating, And Executing Co-Investment Opportunities.
Strong Understanding Of Portfolio Management: The Candidate Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Portfolio Management Principles And Practices, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Portfolios In The Private Markets Space. They Should Also Have Experience In Conducting Risk Analysis And Managing Portfolio Diversification.
Excellent Analytical And Financial Skills: A Private Markets – Co Investments Portfolio Manager Should Have Strong Quantitative And Analytical Skills, With The Ability To Conduct Financial Analysis And Due Diligence On Potential Investment Opportunities. They Should Also Be Able To Effectively Evaluate And Communicate The Risks And Returns Of Potential Investments.
Relationship Management Skills: This Role Requires The Candidate To Build And Maintain Relationships With Key Stakeholders, Including Clients, Investment Teams, And External Partners.
