- Lead negotiations with prime services clients to ensure successful outcomes and strengthen relationships with them.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey Barclays' value proposition and negotiate favorable terms for both the company and clients.
- Analyze market trends and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in prime services offerings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the prime services industry to stay informed and remain competitive.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, risk, legal, and compliance, to ensure all negotiations align with company policies and regulations.
- Create and present proposals and reports to senior management, providing insights and recommendations based on negotiation outcomes.
- Monitor and track industry developments and competitor activity to make informed decisions during negotiations.
- Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their negotiation skills and ensure consistency in approach.
- Maintain accurate records of negotiation discussions, agreements, and progress to inform future negotiations and track client relationships.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Barclays and network with potential clients.
At Least 10 Years Of Experience In The Financial Services Industry, With A Focus On Prime Services And/Or Negotiations.
Proven Track Record Of Leading And Managing A Team Of Negotiators, With The Ability To Mentor And Develop Junior Team Members.
In-Depth Understanding Of Prime Brokerage Products And Services, Including Securities Lending, Margin Financing, And Hedge Fund Financing.
Strong Negotiation Skills And The Ability To Navigate Complex Deals And Relationships With Clients, Regulators, And Internal Stakeholders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With Clients And Key Stakeholders At All Levels Of The Organization.
