Barclays is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a PMO Financials, responsible for overseeing the financial management of projects within our Project Management Office.   1. Manage Project Finances: The PMO Financials will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of all projects within the Project Management Office. This includes developing, monitoring, and reporting on project budgets, expenses, and financial forecasts.
  2. Ensure Financial Accuracy: It will be the responsibility of the PMO Financials to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data related to projects. This includes conducting regular audits and reviews to identify any discrepancies and taking corrective action as needed.
  3. Develop Financial Plans: The PMO Financials will work closely with project managers to develop financial plans for each project, taking into consideration budget constraints and resource allocation. They will also be responsible for identifying potential financial risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
  4. Monitor Expenses and Resources: This role will require tracking and monitoring project expenses and resources to ensure they are within budget and aligned with project goals. The PMO Financials will also be responsible for identifying any discrepancies and making recommendations for cost savings.
  5. Create Financial Reports: The PMO Financials will be responsible for creating and presenting regular financial reports to senior management, project stakeholders, and other relevant parties. These reports should provide a clear and accurate overview of project finances and highlight any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with Team Members: This role will require working closely with project managers, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure that financial management processes are understood and followed. The PMO Financials will also provide guidance and support to team members on financial matters.
  7. Stay Up-to-Date with Financial Regulations: The PMO Financials will be responsible for staying informed about any changes in financial regulations and ensuring that all project financials are in compliance with these regulations.
  8. Identify and Implement Process Improvements: The PMO Financials will continuously review and evaluate financial management processes and make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  9. Manage Vendor Relationships: This role will require managing relationships with external vendors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Financial Management, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Project Management Principles And Methodologies.

  • Proficiency In Financial Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, And Reporting.

  • Excellent Communication And Stakeholder Management Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Various Levels Of Management.
