Messaging Engineer

As a Barclays Messaging Engineer, you will be working as Messaging Infrastructure Specialist providing live systems support to the global Barclays Messaging environment. Being responsible for Operational Systems Management & Preventative Maintenance – to include proactive monitoring, system checks, SOD Reports. Assisting with Barclays Messaging transformation activities messaging infrastructure services to the cloud and other initiatives. Analyzing the full end to end issue ensuring that recommendations made will resolve incidents with no additional impact to services. Providing 24 x 7( 3rd) Line Specialist support for all core and non-core messaging technologies. Working on Major Handling bridges , providing relevant updates and actions to land resolution. Working on DCR Test to support the resiliency teams, capacity management.
