Markets Lawyer

We are looking for an experienced Markets Lawyer to join the Barclays Legal team. This is an exciting and challenging role that requires a dedicated and knowledgeable individual who is highly motivated and eager to contribute to the success of the business.The primary function of the Markets Lawyer is to provide legal advice and guidance to the business on a broad range of legal matters associated with the markets business, including sales and trading, capital markets and corporate finance.The successful candidate should be a qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a top-tier, markets-focused firm. Experience of working with the major investment banks, knowledge of practical legal issues in the markets sector and a strong understanding of the regulatory environment are essential.The ideal candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and possess strong technical knowledge and experience.
