- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance within the organization.
- Advise and provide guidance to management and HR teams on employment law matters, including policy development, employee relations, and dispute resolution.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on any changes in employment laws and regulations and their implications for the organization.
- Review and draft employment contracts, agreements, and policies to ensure legal compliance and protect the rights and interests of employees.
- Collaborate with other legal team members to provide legal support and advice on a variety of employment-related issues.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for employees and managers to promote a culture of compliance and awareness of employment laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee employment-related litigation, including drafting legal documents, attending hearings, and negotiating settlements.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and trends in employment law to identify potential areas for improvement within the organization.
- Work closely with external legal counsel and represent the organization in legal proceedings, as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Compliance, to ensure a holistic approach to employment law compliance and risk management.
- Monitor and report on the organization's compliance with employment laws and regulations, identifying any potential areas of concern and proposing solutions.
- Uphold the organization's values and commitment to creating a fair and inclusive workplace for all employees.
Juris Doctor (J.d.) Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Practicing Employment Law, Preferably With A Focus On Banking And Finance Industry.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Relevant Employment Laws, Regulations, And Best Practices.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Provide Strategic Legal Advice To Senior Management.
