Legal Counsel, Data Privacy

At Barclays, we are looking for a talented, experienced Legal Counsel to join our Data Privacy team. Our ideal candidate is an innovative and proactive legal professional, with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of data privacy and data protection laws, who is also comfortable working with complex cross-border legal matters. This role requires a Law degree (JD or equivalent) and at least 5+ years of experience in a related role. Previous experience in a financial services or banking environment is a plus but not required.The successful candidate will be a critical member of our Data Privacy team, working closely with our internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure that Barclays remains compliant with all applicable data privacy laws, regulations, and industry standards.
