Job Description

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as an IVR VUI Designer at Barclays. As a leading financial institution, we are constantly looking for ways to enhance our customers' interactions with our services and products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and efficient IVR systems that will improve the overall customer experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in IVR and VUI design, who is ready to take on new challenges and drive forward the development of our IVR systems.

  1. Design and develop innovative and user-friendly IVR and VUI systems to improve customer experience.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective IVR solutions.
  3. Conduct research and analyze customer behavior and preferences to inform IVR design decisions.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback.
  5. Implement IVR best practices and design principles to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
  6. Continuously monitor IVR system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Provide guidance and support to developers in implementing IVR designs and troubleshooting any issues.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IVR technology to incorporate new features and functionalities into designs.
  9. Collaborate with UX designers to ensure consistency and alignment with overall brand and design guidelines.
  10. Effectively communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  11. Conduct user testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs.
  12. Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues with IVR systems and work towards finding timely solutions.
  13. Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and optimization of IVR systems.

Job Qualifications

  • Experience In Ivr Design: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Designing Ivr Systems, Preferably In A Financial Services Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Vui Design Principles: A Strong Understanding Of Voice User Interface Design Principles, Including Dialogue Flow, Natural Language Processing, And Speech Recognition Technology, Is Essential.

  • Proficiency In Design Tools: Proficiency In Design Tools Such As Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Or Figma Is Required. Experience With Ivr-Specific Design Tools, Such As Voiceflow Or Twilio Studio, Is A Plus.

  • Familiarity With Banking Industry: Candidates Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Banking Industry, Including Products, Services, And Customer Needs, To Design Ivr Systems That Align With Barclays' Brand And Customer Experience.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: Excellent Communication Skills, Both Verbal And Written, Are Necessary For This Role As The Ivr Vui Designer Will Be Working Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Testers, And Product Managers, To Design And Implement Ivr Solutions.
