Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Legal Operations: A Head Of Operational Excellence, Legal At Barclays Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Legal Operations, Including Compliance, Risk Management, And Regulatory Requirements. They Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Ideally Within The Financial Services Industry.
Proven Track Record Of Delivering Operational Excellence: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Implementing And Driving Operational Excellence Initiatives Within A Legal Department. This Includes Streamlining Processes, Reducing Costs, And Improving Efficiencies.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Senior Position, The Head Of Operational Excellence, Legal Must Have Exceptional Leadership And Management Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Lead A Team, Delegate Tasks, And Foster A Culture Of Continuous Improvement Within The Legal Department.
Strong Communication And Stakeholder Management Abilities: This Role Requires Frequent Interaction With Various Stakeholders, Including Legal Teams, Senior Management, And External Regulators.
