- Develop and implement global reconciliation process strategies and procedures in alignment with Barclays' goals and objectives.
- Oversee and manage the reconciliation process for all global operations, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Lead a team of reconciliation analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of services.
- Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, Operations, and Risk, to ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Monitor and analyze reconciliation data to identify trends and potential issues, and proactively take action to resolve them.
- Identify and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and accuracy of reconciliation processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reconciliation processes, and introduce innovative ideas to enhance Barclays' practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators and auditors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on reconciliation process performance, including key metrics and areas for improvement, to senior management.
- Act as a subject matter expert for all matters related to reconciliation processes and provide guidance and support to other teams as needed.
Extensive Experience In Reconciliation Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Leading Reconciliation Processes At A Global Level. They Should Be Well-Versed In Various Reconciliation Tools And Technologies, As Well As Have A Strong Understanding Of Industry Best Practices.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Global Reconciliation Process Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Reconciliation Analysts Across Different Regions.
