  1. Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based applications for the TRAC and CCLT departments of Barclays.
  2. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions in an Agile environment.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Continuously enhance and optimize existing systems to improve performance and scalability.
  6. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the adoption of best practices.
  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  8. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  9. Adhere to coding standards and ensure that all code is well-documented and maintainable.
  10. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  11. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
  12. Contribute to the overall improvement of development processes and tools.
  13. Adhere to security and compliance standards set by the organization.
  14. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Proficiency In Java Programming Language: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Java And Its Core Concepts Such As Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, And Algorithms. They Should Also Be Familiar With Various Frameworks And Tools Used In Java Development.

  • Experience With Full Stack Development: The Candidate Should Have Hands-On Experience In Developing End-To-End Solutions Using Both Front-End And Back-End Technologies. They Should Be Proficient In Html, Css, Javascript, And Popular Front-End Frameworks Like Angular, React, Or Vue.js.

  • Knowledge Of Trac And Cclt Systems: Barclays Uses Trac (Trade Reporting And Compliance Engine) And Cclt (Centralised Credit Limit Tool) Systems For Trade Reporting And Credit Limit Management. The Candidate Should Have Prior Experience Working With These Systems Or Similar Trade Reporting And Credit Limit Management Tools.

  • Understanding Of Financial Markets And Products: As A Full Stack Java Developer At Barclays, The Candidate Will Be Working On Projects Related To Financial Markets And Products. Hence, They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Financial Concepts And Products Such As Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, And Risk Management.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The Candidate Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Problems And Come Up With Efficient Solutions. They Should Also Be Able To Troubleshoot And Debug Issues In A Timely Manner. Additionally, They Should Have Good Communication Skills And Be Able To Collaborate With Other Team Members Effectively.
