  1. Develop and maintain high-quality front-end applications using React.
  2. Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces.
  3. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  4. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  5. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing.
  6. Stay updated with industry trends and developments in front-end technologies.
  7. Work closely with the back-end development team to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionalities.
  8. Continuously improve and enhance existing applications to meet changing business needs.
  9. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  10. Effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  11. Follow agile methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  12. Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks in the development process.
  13. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
  14. Attend training and development opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  15. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and standards for development and security.

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency In React: A Frontend Developer At Barclays Should Have A Strong Understanding And Experience In Working With React. This Includes Knowledge Of React Components, State Management, And The Ability To Write Clean And Efficient Code.

  • Experience With Javascript And Related Frameworks: In Addition To React, Candidates Should Have A Strong Foundation In Javascript And Its Related Frameworks, Such As Redux, Angular, Or Vue. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Integrate With Existing Codebases And Work On New Projects.

  • Understanding Of Responsive Design And Cross-Browser Compatibility: Barclays Is A Global Company, And Its Website And Applications Need To Work Seamlessly Across Different Devices And Browsers. A Frontend Developer Should Have A Good Understanding Of Responsive Design Techniques And Be Able To Create Interfaces That Are Compatible With Various Browsers.

  • Knowledge Of Ui/Ux Principles: The Role Of A Frontend Developer At Barclays Goes Beyond Just Writing Code. They Should Have A Good Understanding Of Ui/Ux Principles And Be Able To Create User-Friendly And Visually Appealing Interfaces That Meet The Needs Of Barclays' Customers.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Frontend Developer At Barclays, You Will Be Working In A Team Environment With Other Developers, Designers, And Stakeholders.
