  1. Conduct data analysis and modeling to identify potential financial crime risks and trends within the organization.
  2. Develop and maintain financial crime risk models and algorithms to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from various sources to support financial crime risk assessments.
  4. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk models and make recommendations for improvements.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to financial crime and incorporate them into the risk models.
  6. Work closely with the compliance and fraud prevention teams to ensure alignment of strategies and risk management practices.
  7. Conduct regular reviews and audits of financial crime risk models to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  8. Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  9. Identify and escalate any potential issues or vulnerabilities to the financial crime risk management program.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on data modeling techniques and best practices for financial crime risk management.
