Barclays is seeking a motivated and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our External Reporting team. In this role, you will be a key member of the finance team, providing strategic financial guidance and support to our external reporting functions.   1. Provide strategic financial guidance and support: The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to the external reporting functions at Barclays. Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders: The role requires working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide financial insights and recommendations.   3. Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting: The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. This includes preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  4. Conduct financial analysis: The role requires conducting financial analysis to identify trends and variances, and provide insights to support decision-making. This includes analyzing financial data, preparing financial models, and making recommendations to improve financial performance.
  5. Monitor and report on financial performance: The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the financial performance of the external reporting functions. This includes tracking key performance indicators, identifying areas of improvement, and making recommendations for cost-saving measures.
  6. Ensure compliance: The role requires ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. This includes staying updated with changes in accounting standards and ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and in line with the latest regulations.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships: The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This includes building strong partnerships with senior leaders, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and representing the finance function in meetings and presentations.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices: The role requires staying updated on industry trends and best practices in finance and accounting. This includes attending training and development programs, participating in conferences and workshops, and sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.

  • Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, And Communication Skills.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In External Reporting And Financial Analysis.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting Regulations, And Industry Standards.

  • Experience With Data Analysis Tools And Financial Reporting Software.
