
Executive Assistant - Head of Global Transaction Banking, Asia Pacific and Middle East
Barclays is seeking a highly organized and dynamic individual to join our team as an Executive Assistant to support the Head of Global Transaction Banking for Asia Pacific and Middle East. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive administrative support to our senior executive, enabling them to effectively manage a fast-paced and complex business environment.As the right-hand person to our executive, you will have the opportunity to work closely with them on strategic initiatives, manage their calendars, coordinate international travel arrangements, and handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. - Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Global Transaction Banking for Asia Pacific and Middle East.
- Manage the executive's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and conferences.
- Coordinate and arrange international travel for the executive, including flights, accommodations, and visas.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
- Act as the executive's gatekeeper, screening and prioritizing incoming correspondence and phone calls.
- Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations for the executive.
- Conduct research and gather information to assist the executive in making critical decisions.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth execution of tasks and projects.
- Anticipate the needs of the executive and proactively take on tasks to support their success.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the executive.
- Manage and maintain records and files, both physical and digital, to ensure efficient retrieval of information.
- Assist with budget management and expense tracking for the executive.
- Act as a liaison between the executive and other team members, clients, and partners.
- Handle any ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the executive.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent the executive and the company in a positive manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to provide relevant support to the executive.
- Attend meetings and take minutes as required.
- Mentor and train junior administrative staff as needed.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Act as a positive role model and promote a collaborative and inclusive work culture within the team.
Extensive Experience In Executive Assistant Or Administrative Roles, Preferably In The Banking Or Financial Services Industry.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Senior Executives And Stakeholders Across Different Cultures And Geographies.
Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Tasks And Priorities In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Projects And Initiatives, With A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
In-Depth Knowledge Of The Global Transaction Banking Industry, Particularly In The Asia Pacific And Middle East Regions, And A Strong Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape And Key Trends Shaping The Market.
