  1. Conduct thorough analysis of business and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and growth in the equity derivative algo trading sector.
  2. Collaborate with various stakeholders including traders, developers, and risk managers to gather requirements and develop effective strategies for implementing new algo trading initiatives.
  3. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets for various equity derivative algo projects.
  4. Utilize project management methodologies to ensure timely and successful delivery of projects, while also identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  5. Act as a liaison between business and technology teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  6. Conduct regular reviews and updates on project progress, communicating any delays, issues, or changes to relevant stakeholders.
  7. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the accuracy and functionality of new algo trading systems.
  8. Monitor and analyze performance of existing algo trading systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology and incorporate them into the development of new algo trading strategies.
  10. Train and support end-users on new systems and functionalities, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
  11. Collaborate with other departments and teams within Barclays to ensure alignment and integration of equity derivative algo trading initiatives with overall business goals and strategies.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and workflows within the equity derivative algo trading team, streamlining operations and increasing efficiency.
