- Provide expert legal advice and support to the organization on corporate and treasury legal matters.
- Stay abreast of changes and developments in the financial sector and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions and strategies.
- Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Advise on complex legal issues and provide effective solutions.
- Manage legal documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Advise on potential legal implications of business decisions and provide guidance for risk management.
- Participate in negotiations and settlements with clients, partners, and other parties.

- Mentor and train junior legal team members.

- Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures within the organization.
Juris Doctor Degree: This Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For Any Corporate Lawyer. The Candidate Must Have A Jd Degree From An Accredited Law School.
Bar Admission: The Candidate Must Be Admitted To The Bar In The State Where They Will Be Practicing Law. For A Corporate Lawyer At Barclays, This Would Likely Be In New York Or London.
Experience In Corporate Law: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Corporate Law, Preferably In A Large Law Firm Or In-House At A Financial Institution.
Knowledge Of Corporate & Treasury Law: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Corporate And Treasury Law, Including Securities Regulations, Corporate Governance, And Financial Transactions.
Excellent Communication And Analytical Skills: Corporate Lawyers Must Have Exceptional Written And Verbal Communication Skills, As Well As Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities. They Must Be Able To Communicate Complex Legal Concepts To Non-Lawyers And Work Well In A Team Environment.
