  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our data centres in Japan, ensuring maximum efficiency and uptime
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance our data centre capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in data centre processes and procedures
  • Lead and manage a team of data centre professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Monitor and maintain data centre performance metrics, and proactively address any issues or concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data centre management, and make recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure smooth operation of data centres
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of data centre processes and procedures to identify potential areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies related to data centre management
  • Prepare and present reports on data centre operations and performance to senior management and other stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Data Centre Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Data Centre Operations, Including Server And Storage Management, Network Infrastructure, And Disaster Recovery Planning. Experience With Virtualization And Cloud Technologies Is Also Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Vice President And Core Data Centre Lead, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Data Centre Professionals. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Effective Leadership, With The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members.

  • Experience In Financial Services Industry: Barclays Is A Global Financial Services Organization, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In The Financial Services Sector. This Will Ensure They Have A Strong Understanding Of The Specific Challenges And Requirements Of Managing Data Centres In The Industry.

  • Technical Expertise And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Possess A Strong Technical Background And The Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Issues In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. They Should Also Be Able To Provide Innovative Solutions To Improve Data Centre Performance And Efficiency.
